A wet winter, mildew and hail cut its own crop dramatically, including much of its Premier Cru. The growers who supply its village Chablis, around Fontenay and Fleys, were remarkably spared, so yields for this wine were close to normal, which is why it is available at all.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eAbout Domaine Christian Moreau\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Moreau family has grown grapes in Chablis since 1814. In 2001 Christian Moreau reclaimed the family vineyards and name, and his son Fabien, who trained in Dijon and Bordeaux and spent a year making wine in New Zealand, has made the wines since the first vintage in 2002. Fabien moved the vineyards to organic farming, certified in 2013, and the domaine's Grand Cru Les Clos 2017 won multiple trophies at the 2019 International Wine Challenge.
