Beautifully aromatic, scented with orange blossom, sweet herbs and ripe tangelo. The palate is bright and fresh with juicy citrus, crushed oyster shell and ripe botanicals. Crisp, fresh structure and ripe fruit.

About Catalina Sounds

Founded in 2005 in Marlborough's Waihopai Valley, Catalina Sounds takes its name from the Catalina flying boats that once crossed the Marlborough Sounds. The estate works across selected sites in the Southern Valleys, Wairau and Awatere, with a good share of fruit from its home Sound of White vineyard, planted in 2008. Winemaking is deliberately low intervention, letting each sub-region speak clearly. Sauvignon Blanc remains the hero, with the range now spanning Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, all built on the same attention to site and detail.

Perfect with fresh oysters, a goat cheese salad, or Asian-inspired seafood. The crisp acidity and citrus character lift fresh, zesty flavours.
