Ha, the season is changing. Still sticky enough for a salad, but perhaps ready for a few gravy like juices. A darker wine, a more gutsy Chard. The shoulder season of Autumn is a great excuse for a Pinot Noir, a Syrah or something a little on the sweeter side (as long as its ice-cold).
As the leaves turn our palates turn toward heavier meats and flavours with clout.
