A rare Central Otago Chenin Blanc from the Dicey family's Bannockburn vineyards.

One of New Zealand's most exciting Chenin Blancs: fragrant, textural and built to age.

Tasting Notes

Enticing aromas of ripe apricot, juicy melon, and delicate persimmon create a fragrant and inviting bouquet. The palate is beautifully balanced, with a rich texture, vibrant energy, and an elegant, lithe structure that lingers.

Enjoy now for its freshness or cellar for up to ten years to develop further complexity.

Why you'll love it: Chenin Blanc is a rarity in Central Otago, and this is a benchmark example, equally rewarding now or with age.

Reviews

94 points, Cameron Douglas MS, camdouglasms.com (September 2025): "An exciting wine with plush, ripe and vibrant flavours."

About Dicey

Dicey is the family label of brothers Matt and James Dicey, based in Bannockburn in Central Otago. Matt makes the wines and James grows the fruit, drawing on years spent with some of the region's best known names, including Mount Difficulty and Peregrine. The fruit comes from the family's own Bannockburn vineyards, farmed with a low intervention, organic approach, and the wines have become some of the most sought after in Central Otago.

Perfect with: roast pork, richer seafood, or soft, washed-rind cheeses.
