Odyssey's Pinot Noir Rosé is made from handpicked organic Pinot Noir grown in Marlborough's Brancott Valley, crafted by Rebecca Salmond as a dry, structured rosé with genuine substance and food-friendly character.

Single Vineyard | Certified Organic | Marlborough Rosé

Tasting Notes

A rosé with substance and weight, while remaining elegant and bright. Made from Pinot Noir, the nose displays floral, raspberry and red cherry characters. The palate is ripe and juicy with a lovely smooth texture and crisp acidity.

A beautifully balanced and immensely appealing dry rosé from certified organic Brancott Valley Pinot Noir, showing genuine structure alongside bright fruit freshness.

Why you'll love it: A rosé that earns a place at the dinner table rather than just the deck. The crisp acidity and red-fruit character make this a natural partner to food, not just sunshine.

Reviews

93 points, Sam Kim, Wine Orbit (Aug 2025): "Pristine and elegantly lifted, the bouquet presents notes of crisp apple, cranberry, nectarine, and floral. It's juicy and lively in the mouth, delivering fine texture backed by bright acidity, making it refreshing and fabulously drinkable."

The Vineyard

From Odyssey's certified organic home vineyard at the top of the Brancott Valley, where Pinot Noir is grown alongside Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris. Handpicked fruit and a gentle winemaking approach preserve the bright aromatics and fine acidity that make this vineyard distinctive.

About Odyssey Wines

Odyssey Wines is owned by Rebecca Salmond, who trained at Massey University in New Zealand and Adelaide University's Roseworthy College in Australia, graduating with a degree in Biotechnology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Winemaking Science. She then worked in some of the world's finest wine regions: Burgundy, Bordeaux and Cote Rotie in France; Alto Adige and Sicily in Italy; Marlborough and Hawkes Bay in New Zealand. Rebecca launched Odyssey in 1994 with small amounts of premium wines. Odyssey now owns 68 acres in Marlborough's Brancott Valley with 25 acres under vine, managed organically. All wines are single vineyard.

Perfect with grilled snapper, a nicoise salad, or a charcuterie and antipasto spread. The bright red-fruit character and crisp acidity complement delicate proteins and fresh flavours beautifully.
