Tasting Notes
A modern, stylish Rosé offering a delicious combination of juicy strawberry and raspberry flavours with a succulent, dry, refreshing finish.
A crisp, dry, summery rosé built for easy drinking.
Why you'll love it: A proper dry rosé, all juicy strawberry and raspberry with a clean, refreshing finish. Serve it well chilled as an aperitif or alongside light summer food.
The Blend
Sourced from the Gimblett Gravels and built on Gimblett Estate fruit, the blend leans on Tempranillo for its core of red fruit, with Syrah adding florals, perfume and a hint of savoury spice. The grapes were gently pressed, cold-settled and cool-fermented in stainless steel with aromatic yeasts to preserve the fruit, with a touch of residual sugar to balance the acidity, then bottled early to capture its youthful vitality.
About Trinity Hill
Trinity Hill was founded in 1993 as one of the early pioneers of Hawke's Bay's Gimblett Gravels, the free-draining, stony district laid down by the old Ngaruroro River and now recognised as one of New Zealand's benchmark sites for Syrah and Chardonnay. The idea was hatched over dinner at London's Bleeding Heart restaurant, and more than thirty years on the winery is known internationally for its food-friendly, terroir-driven reds and whites, led by its icon Syrah, Homage. Chief winemaker Warren Gibson has guided the cellar since 1997, a quality-over-quantity approach that has made Trinity Hill a fixture on serious restaurant lists.
Perfect with antipasto, sashimi, or pan-fried salmon. Serve well chilled. Its bright red fruit and dry, refreshing finish suit light, fresh, summery plates.
