Tasting Notes: Ripe Nashi pears are complemented by exotic aromas of sweet spices (think cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg), rose water and spicy glacè ginger. The wine is rich and opulent in the mouth with a soft, mouthcoating texture balanced by refreshing acidity. Excellent persistence of flavour, and a lingering spicy finish, ensure the wine is satisfying either on its own or partnered with a wide range of foods, particularly Asian-inspired dishes.

Cameron Douglas Premium 90 Points Aromas of fresh pear and golden delicious apple, there’s a touch of honeysuckle and lees then a whisp of white pepper then stone. Flavours on the palate mirror the bouquet accentuated by the acid line and youthful fresh mouthfeel of fruit and super fine tannin combinations. Satin textures and refreshing acid line lead to a balanced finish, a wine ready to drink. Best from day of purchase through 2026.
About Trinity Hill: In 1993, having recognised the outstanding potential of the Hawkes Bays Gimblett Gravels winegrowing district, Trinity Hill became one of the region's early pioneers, planting grapevines on a barren plot that continues to produce exceptional wines today.
Gimblett Estate is an 18-hectare block of vineyards off Gimblett Road, close to their 125 Gimblett site. This vineyard is particularly stony, and home to 95% of of the Trinity Hill Syrah. This vineyard is also home to some of our oldest vines, original clones that were some of the first Syrah vines brought to New Zealand.
