Cameron Douglas MS 93 Points - Excellent Ripe, fragrant, fruity and varietal with a core of pinosity lead by aromas of dark cherry and raspberry, clove and vanilla spices and a light smoky wood quality. youthful and vibrant. A fruity, dry wine with flavours that mirror the bouquet touch the palate first then as the wine opens out in glass textures from fruit tannins and baking spices of toasty wood add contrast as well as texture. Youthful, salivating and bright with flavours of red berries and plum, vanilla and clove. Best drinking late 2024 or early 2025 through 2030

About Odyssey: Odyssey Wines is owned by winemaker Rebecca Salmond. Having worked in some of the world’s finest wine and culinary regions: Burgundy, Bordeaux and Cote Rotie in France; Alto Adige and Sicily in Italy; Marlborough and Hawkes Bay in New Zealand.
Rebecca launched her label Odyssey in 1994, with small amounts of premium wines. Odyssey now owns 68 acres of land in Marlborough's Brancott Valley with 25 acres currently under vine. Rebecca's well-honed philosophy sees her making only subtle adjustments to the wine, and using where appropriate the finest oaks.
