Reviews

Sam Kim, Wine Orbit - 93 Points: "It's sweetly ripe and delightfully fragrant on the nose with dark plum, raspberry, mixed spice and roasted nut aromas. The palate displays succulent fruit flavours with fleshy texture and beautifully flowing mouthfeel, leading to a fine, polished finish. At its best: now to 2028."

The Vineyard

The Odyssey Wines Pinot Noir is handpicked from the 'home' vineyard in Marlborough's Brancott Valley. This premium location provides the ideal terroir for producing elegant, food-friendly Pinot Noir with distinctive regional character.

Perfect with duck breast, grilled salmon, or mushroom risotto. The silky tannins and red fruit character enhance both protein and earthy flavours beautifully.

About Odyssey

Odyssey Wines is owned by winemaker Rebecca Salmond, who has honed her craft in some of the world's finest wine regions, including Burgundy, Bordeaux and Côte Rôtie in France, Alto Adige and Sicily in Italy, plus Marlborough and Hawke's Bay in New Zealand. Rebecca launched Odyssey in 1994 with small amounts of premium wines, focusing on minimal intervention winemaking that allows the vineyard character to shine through.

Odyssey now owns 68 acres of land in Marlborough's Brancott Valley with 25 acres currently under vine. Rebecca's well-honed philosophy sees her making only subtle adjustments to the wine, using the finest oak where appropriate to complement rather than mask the fruit.
