Tasting Notes
Meursault is one of the great names in white Burgundy, prized for its weight, nutty depth and long finish. Expect ripe orchard fruit, hazelnut and a creamy richness that few whites in the world can match.
Benchmark Côte de Beaune Chardonnay, nutty, rich and built to age.
Why you'll love it: Meursault sits at the top table of white Burgundy, where the combination of ripe orchard fruit and creamy, hazelnut richness rewards a special occasion or a long, slow dinner.
About Albert Bichot
Albert Bichot is a historic Burgundy house, founded in Beaune in 1831 and still family-owned, now run by the sixth generation under Albéric Bichot. It is one of the region's larger names, farming around 100 hectares of certified-organic vineyards across six estates that stretch from Chablis in the north to Beaujolais in the south, with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay at its heart. The house is also the leading buyer at the historic Hospices de Beaune charity auction.
Perfect with roast chicken, lobster, or creamy pasta. The richness and nutty depth of Meursault are made for butter, cream and delicate white proteins.
