A barrel selection from our beloved blocks 7 and 7C. Our first parcels to convert to organic practices back in 2015. Dark fruit intensity. There is savouriness, spice and silky mouthfeel. The palate is complemented by a mineral streak that allows the wine to evolve in the glass.

The 2023 Vintage has picked up solid reviews from international wine experts James Suckling and Jancis Robinson.

Breakneck Reserve represents fruit from specific vineyard blocks 7C and 7, showcasing the concentrated intensity and terroir expression that comes from Amisfield's premier sites within their certified organic estate.

Amisfield has earned exceptional recognition in recent Amisfield Pinot Noir Rosé 2024 | Wine Christchurch +2 years, including Organic Vineyard of the Year at the New Zealand Organic Wine Awards in 2024, following previous wins as Sustainable Vineyard of the Year in 2020, 2022, and 2023. Their commitment to quality has been recognised internationally with Gold Medal wins at the London Wine Competition 2023, and their Pinot Noir consistently scores in the high 90s with Wine Spectator.
