Tasting Notes: Intense garnet red color. Warm and mature nose with notes of jam, raspberry, licorice, cherry and camphor. Soft mouth of remarkable structure with fine tannins and persistence.
Cordero di Montezemolo: A Legacy in Barolo. In the heart of Piedmont’s Langhe hills, Cordero di Montezemolo has been family-run since 1340, with 19 generations caring for the same historic estate. Their iconic cedar tree, planted in the 1800s, watches over 30 hectares of organically farmed vineyards.
From crisp Arneis to powerful Barolo, the wines reflect deep tradition, careful vineyard practices, and a clear expression of place. The estate’s prized Monfalletto vineyard is uniquely planted according to altitude, soil, and sun, producing wines of elegance, structure, and longevity.
Cordero di Montezemolo offers a true taste of Barolo, shaped by centuries of heritage and a passion for fine winemaking.
About The Barolo Region: Barolo – The King of Wines, the Wine of Kings
Tucked into the rolling hills of Italy’s northwestern Piedmont, Barolo is one of the world’s most revered wine regions. Made exclusively from the Nebbiolo grape, Barolo is known for its elegance, complexity, and remarkable ability to age.
The region’s patchwork of vineyards, steep slopes, and clay-limestone soils create wines with fine tannins, vibrant acidity, and layered aromas, from rose and tar to cherry, truffle, and earth. Each village, from La Morra to Serralunga d’Alba, brings its own nuance and character to the glass.
Barolo is not just a wine, it’s an experience. Structured, soulful, and steeped in tradition, it rewards patience and invites exploration, whether you're new to the region or a seasoned collector.
