A single-site Pinot Noir from The Inlet vineyard, part of the Dicey family's organically farmed Bannockburn holdings in Central Otago.
Dicey's most robust single-vineyard Pinot Noir: polished, structured and built for the cellar.
Tasting Notes
An exotic aroma with star anise and black tea, mushroom and bitter cocoa. The palate is polished with finely grained ripe tannins. More robust than both Black Rabbit and Bannockburn, but manages to retain a seductive, silken texture.
A structured, age-worthy expression of a single Bannockburn site.
Why you'll love it: it is the most powerful and complex of the Dicey single-vineyard Pinots, with the structure to reward years in the cellar.
About Dicey
Dicey is the family label of brothers Matt and James Dicey, based in Bannockburn in Central Otago. Matt makes the wines and James grows the fruit, drawing on years spent with some of the region's best known names, including Mount Difficulty and Peregrine. The fruit comes from the family's own Bannockburn vineyards, farmed with a low intervention, organic approach, and the wines have become some of the most sought after in Central Otago.
Perfect with: venison, duck, or aged hard cheeses.
