Tasting Notes
Pure and bright, with an impressive array of citrus covering grapefruit, lemon, lime and mandarin. Subtle gravelly tones weave complexity around the vibrant fruit, while the palate opens with juicy stone fruit that delivers intense, generous flavour. The mid-palate follows through with refreshing, crystalline acidity that creates a quenching, memorable finish.
Drinking beautifully now and over the next few years.
Why you'll love it: it is Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc with purity and drive, equally good as an aperitif or alongside food.
Reviews
94 points, Cameron Douglas MS, camdouglasms.com (December 2025): "Taut, new, pure fruited, ripe and salivating."
About Dog Point
Dog Point sits at the meeting of the Brancott and Omaka Valleys in Marlborough, one of the region's oldest privately established vineyards and now New Zealand's largest BioGro-certified organic site. Organic conversion began in 2009, and the estate farms with cover crops, sheep and cattle for weed control, and composted vine prunings returned to the soil. Fruit is hand-picked from low-cropped vines, and the wines are made with a low intervention, hands-off approach. They are vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free, and built to cellar.
Perfect with: fresh seafood, goat's cheese salads, or simply on a warm evening.
