Tasting Notes
Pure and bright with an impressive array of citrus covering grapefruit, lemon, lime and mandarin. Subtle gravelly tones weave complexity around the vibrant fruit, whilst the palate opens with juicy stone fruit that delivers intense, generous flavour.
The mid-palate follows through with refreshing crystalline acidity that creates a quenching, memorable finish. Perfect with fresh seafood, goat's cheese salads, or simply enjoyed on a warm evening.
Excellent - Cam Douglas MS awarded this 94 points, noting its "delicious, fresh, balanced" character with cellaring potential through 2029.
The Recognition
Cam Douglas MS praised this wine's "scents and flavours of citrus and nettles, fresh sage and grapefruit, apple and a layer of green passionfruit fresh lychee nut." He highlighted the crisp, dry palate with "plenty of mouthfeel, saline qualities and freshness" enhanced by time on lees for added texture and length.
