Domaine des Pasquiers Côtes du Rhône is a certified organic red from the Lambert family's 87-hectare estate in the southern Rhône Valley, where four generations of winemakers have farmed the light, sandy soils of the Sablet hillsides since 1935.

Certified Organic | Côtes du Rhône | 75% Grenache, 25% Syrah

Tasting Notes

Bright ruby colour. The nose is very aromatic with intense red fruit aromas, then comes a hint of liquorice and pepper. The palate is expressive and fleshy, with brambly fruit, garrigue, and aromas of wild thyme, lavender and pepper.

A classic Côtes du Rhône with genuine southern character: ripe, aromatic, and food-friendly, from a family estate that converted to organic farming in 2010.

Why you'll love it: The combination of Grenache's fruit generosity and Syrah's spice and structure is one of the southern Rhône's most reliable formulas. This version delivers well above its price point, from vines with 20-year average age on sandy, low-yield soils.

The Vineyard

The estate's Côtes du Rhône vines sit on light, sandy soils at the edge of the Sablet hillsides, where natural drainage and low fertility concentrate flavour in the fruit. The Lambert family began converting the entire 87-hectare property to organic agriculture in 2010, a commitment that now extends across appellations including Gigondas, Côtes du Rhône Villages Sablet, and Plan de Dieu.

About Domaine des Pasquiers

Belonging to the Lambert family since 1935, Domaine des Pasquiers extends across 87 hectares and several appellations in the heart of Provence. Jean-Claude and Philippe Lambert run the estate with their children Matthieu and Perrine, with a focus on bottle sales and export. The family converted the entire vineyard to certified organic agriculture in 2010.

Perfect with lamb chops with rosemary, a slow-cooked beef daube, or a generous cheese board. The red fruit and garrigue character of this blend are built for the table.
