Châteauneuf-du-Pape | Southern Rhône GSM | Fleshy, Concentrated and Age-Worthy
Tasting Notes
Fine, soft tannins create a fleshy, long-lasting wine. Aromas of leather, spices, and garrigue define this prestigious Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The Le Parvis vineyard gives exceptional concentration and the classic complexity expected from this renowned appellation.
A concentrated, structured Châteauneuf-du-Pape with the depth to cellar.
Why you'll love it: it delivers the warmth, spice and density of classic Châteauneuf-du-Pape, ready to enjoy now or hold for several years.
The Blend
Grenache-dominant with a smaller proportion of Syrah and Mourvèdre, matured in a combination of oak barrels and vats for twelve to fifteen months.
About Ferraton Père et Fils
Founded in 1946 by Jean-Orëns Ferraton in Tain l'Hermitage, Ferraton Père et Fils draws on vineyards across the terraced slopes and plains of the Rhône Valley. Now part of the Maison M. Chapoutier family of estates, the house farms a growing share of its vineyards organically and biodynamically, making wines from northern Rhône Syrah through to southern Rhône Grenache blends, each shaped to show its terroir.
