Tasting Notes

Spicy pink grapefruit, honey blossom, orange capsicum and schist dominate the aromatics. On the palate the wine shows more bright citrus flavours with an elegant textural thread giving poise, depth and tension.

A distinctive, mineral Pinot Blanc, a rare variety done beautifully in Central Otago.

The Vineyard

The fruit comes from a single site, the L'Attitude Vineyard, on the shores of Lake Dunstan in the Pisa sub-region of the Cromwell basin. Planted in Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc, it is certified sustainable through Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand (SWNZ), and its rugged, schist-driven terroir gives the wines their poise and drive.
