Nevis Bluff Reserve Pinot Noir 2021 is a powerful, single vineyard red from the Pisa sub-region of Central Otago.

Premium Central Otago | Single Vineyard | Beautiful NZ Wine

Tasting Notes

Powerful and opulent with density and structure, yet it's graceful and sensual, showing dark berry, charcuterie, porcini and toasted spice aromas on the nose. The concentrated palate offers outstanding weight and expansive mouthfeel, wonderfully framed by seamlessly woven tannins. An exceptional offering with a sustained, sophisticated finish. At its best: 2025 to 2036. (Sam Kim, Wine Orbit)

A reserve-level Central Otago Pinot Noir from the single L'Attitude Vineyard, built for cellaring through to 2036.

Why you'll love it: This is a special occasion Central Otago Pinot, generous and polished, with the structure to cellar for years or to open now alongside a slow Sunday roast.

The Awards

Silver Medal and 93 points, International Wine Challenge 2025.

The Vineyard

The fruit comes from a single site, the L'Attitude Vineyard, on the shores of Lake Dunstan in the Pisa sub-region of the Cromwell basin. Planted in Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc, it is certified sustainable through Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand (SWNZ), and its rugged, schist-driven terroir suits the concentration and structure of a reserve Pinot.

About Nevis Bluff

Established in 1998, Nevis Bluff has built its reputation as Central Otago's 'Pinot Specialist', dedicated to distinctive single vineyard Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc. A focus on premium fruit and a natural winemaking approach gives the wines genuine, restaurant-quality character that reflects their place.

Perfect with duck breast, mushroom risotto, or a charcuterie board. The wine's dark berry depth and savoury, spicy edge echo earthy and cured flavours, while the fine tannins carry rich proteins.
