Classic Barossa blend | GSM| Very approachable and drinkable

Tasting Notes for Paisley GSM

In the glass, this classic Barossa blend has a mid-red colour. On the nose, lifted raspberry fruit combines with earthy, savoury notes and sweet spices like cloves and cardamom. Building on these aromas, the medium-bodied palate displays typical GSM characters, featuring cherries, raspberries, herbal notes, mint, and a hint of roasted nuts.

The tannins are soft and supple, and the old vine fruit gives the wine a lovely mouthfeel and texture. Overall, the palate is even and finishes with impressive length of berry fruit and savoury spice, making the wine very approachable and drinkable.

Enjoy it young while vibrant and fresh, though it will also age well in the medium term for up to seven years.

Classic Barossa GSM blend that's very approachable and drinkable—perfect for both casual enjoyment and serious wine appreciation.

The Blend

Classic GSM (Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre) blend showcasing typical Barossa characters with the complexity that comes from old vine fruit.

About Paisley Wines

Small-batch Barossa reds from Derek and Kirsten Fitzgerald's hands-on Angaston estate. Derek's 20+ years of winemaking experience across the Barossa Valley meets genuine hobby-farm passion-they're literally in the vineyard daily alongside their menagerie of farm animals.

Focused on the three varieties Derek believes Barossa does best: Grenache, Shiraz, and Mataro. Restaurant-quality character without the corporate polish.
