Tolaini Chianti Classico 2024 is a classic Tuscan red made from 95% Sangiovese and 5% Canaiolo in the Berardenga area of Chianti Classico.

Tasting Notes

Ruby red, the nose shows hints of strawberry and ripe black cherry.

The Winemaking

The grapes come from younger vineyards at San Giovanni a Cerreto, on light, well-drained soils of yellow quartz sand and marine conglomerates. They are selected in the vineyard and again by an optical sorter, then fermented in stainless steel with about 20 days on the skins. The wine matures for 10 months in concrete tanks and a further 2 months in bottle. Alcohol is 13.5%.

Perfect with roast chicken, pasta with a meat ragu, or pizza. The cherry fruit and fresh structure suit tomato-based dishes.
