Hawke's Bay | Bright NZ Rosé | Food-Friendly

Tasting Notes

New Zealand artist Emma Bass and Hawke's Bay winery Trinity Hill present the Emma Rosé. This wine has aromas of bright fresh violets, forest flowers intermingled with delicate rose petals. The palate is bursting with intense fresh red fruits, plum and spice, with a creamy texture and tangy acidity on the finish that gives the wine vibrancy and freshness. It is a deliciously light variety that pairs well with niçoise and Greek salads, soft cheeses, or cured salmon.

A pretty, fragrant rosé built for long summer lunches.

Why you'll love it: Light, floral and fresh, the kind of rosé that quietly disappears on a warm afternoon. Lovely with salads, soft cheese or a plate of cured salmon.

About Trinity Hill

Trinity Hill was founded in 1993 as one of the early pioneers of Hawke's Bay's Gimblett Gravels, the free-draining, stony district laid down by the old Ngaruroro River and now recognised as one of New Zealand's benchmark sites for Syrah and Chardonnay. The idea was hatched over dinner at London's Bleeding Heart restaurant, and more than thirty years on the winery is known internationally for its food-friendly, terroir-driven reds and whites, led by its icon Syrah, Homage. Chief winemaker Warren Gibson has guided the cellar since 1997, a quality-over-quantity approach that has made Trinity Hill a fixture on serious restaurant lists.

Perfect with a niçoise or Greek salad, soft cheeses, or cured salmon. Its bright red fruit and tangy acidity suit light, fresh, summery plates.
