Tasting Notes: Two Hands Lily's Garden Shiraz
Deep crimson, red with a bright and vibrant red core. On the nose, vibrant notes of blueberry pie and short crust pastry, vanilla, white chocolate, white pepper and dried flowers. Classic McLaren Vale blue fruited accents, with blueberry and plum reduction. Quite high toned and vibrant, yet the palate is quite broad and loose knit, providing a soft and cuddly fruit expression.
Scores & Reviews
"This is a pan-regional blend, knitting together the characteristics of varying geologies and macroclimates. There’s violet and lilac, ground coffee and tar, boysenberry, blueberry and plum, dried seaweed, iodine, soft licorice and morcilla. The cool year has put a cap on sweetness of fruit, which is no bad thing, though it is still mouth-filling and intense, tannins chewy and layered, calling for food.”
