This Chianti shines a vibrant ruby red with violet reflections. The bouquet is immediate and expressive, bursting with red berry fruit, while maturation in durmast oak barrels brings subtle notes of vanilla. On the palate, it offers generous body and harmonious balance, finishing with pleasant, well-integrated tannins. A versatile Tuscan classic, perfect with pasta dishes, roasted meats, or aged cheeses.

About Vecchia Cantina

Founded in 1937 by 14 pioneering producers, Vecchia Cantina is the oldest winegrowing and winemaking cooperative in Tuscany. For more than 80 years it has been a driving force in the region, helping sustain the DOC system after World War II and continuing today as a cornerstone of Tuscan wine, culture and tradition. The vines grow on the rolling hills of southern Chianti, between 250 and 450 metres elevation, where conditions favour balance and elegance.

Perfect with tomato pasta, roasted meats, or aged pecorino. The bright acidity and supple tannins make it a natural with everyday Italian cooking.
