I have created a Christmas party menu, or new years lunch, or office party or home catch up.... We've matched the wine and added a box of beautiful sparkling water for those that purchase the trio.
We shared this dinner together with our two families. Now we want to share it with you.
Lets be together while we can. This year I have learned not to keep things for best, not to save the good champagne for later. If you're at my house, if I missed you during lockdown. If you'd share a pie with me on the side of the road. I'm opening the best for you. Share with the ones you love. Lets not put it off.
As a food writer I figured out years ago that show-off food can make for a stuffy evening. I love great food, but I want happy guests and time with my friends. I don't want to "entertain", I want to hang with my mates.
This menu is perfect for that. The tabouleh is great made the day before, the salmon is slipped into a waiting oven and the savoy salad can be made in the morning and tossed together so you look slightly busy....
It's beautiful food, just not fussy order and chill some beautiful wine. Enjoy.

Laura

Those of you who are signed up for the newsletter have been enjoying and sharing our newsletter and recipes with friends, and have received the 10 new wineries with excitement. I am hoping the new drop-down menus and collections are contributing to your navigation. It certainly feels like it as I support your wines from sales to doorsteps all over NZ.
In 2024 I hope to bring you the same brilliant wines, with the same personal service.
Have a very Merry Christmas,
Laura
