Based in Bannockburn, Central Otago, Dicey Wines is a family-run boutique winery led by brothers Matt and James Dicey. Their vineyards are transitioning to organic certification with BioGro, reflecting a deep commitment to sustainable, high-quality winemaking.

Matt Dicey brings extensive experience as former winemaker at Mt Difficulty, while James was recently awarded for outstanding service to the Central Otago wine industry. Together, they craft premium wines that showcase Bannockburn’s unique terroir with elegance and precision.

Formerly known as Ceres, the brand was renamed Dicey to emphasize authenticity and avoid confusion with other organic producers in New Zealand. The Dicey label represents handcrafted, thoughtfully made wines that align with The Wine List’s dedication to curated, exceptional New Zealand wines.
